Or jump on the bike and drive through the beautiful heathland to Lyngvig Lighthouse. With its location between sea and fjord, Lyngvig beach is the ideal holiday destination for any water sports enthusiast. There are plenty of opportunities to throw yourself over the North Sea's challenging waves or the flat waters of the fjord.

Explore the local fishing village
Take a detour to the lively fishing village of Hvide Sande, and experience the town's unique combination of harbour, town and beach. Here you can also take a trip below the surface of the water in Fiskeriets Hus, where both adults and children can learn about underwater wildlife and the history of fishing in Hvide Sande. And if you're really lucky, you might get to touch a crab, fish or starfish.

Playgrounds and water fun for children of all ages
There is plenty of room to frolic on the three different playgrounds, so there won't be many seconds of boredom for the youngest in the family. In addition, the whole family has the opportunity to throw themselves into the West Jutland waves on the beautiful beaches or enjoy a swim in the indoor heated swimming pool. The swimming pool is open to and including week 42.
